Gaia Sagrada Ayahuasca Retreat Center is unique among all centers because it is a non profit, the prices are right at the expenses level, and even the directors work for Ecuador minimum wage, which is unheard of among retreat centers! Every center we know of makes a huge profit for those who run it.
However, Gaia Sagrada is a selfless service oriented place, a place of REAL love for humanity. Everyone who is at Gaia Sagrada is there only because they want to help people, not for money or profit. This is what makes Gaia Sagrada one of the most unique Ayahuasca retreat centers of all time.
People who come here feel the difference. There is true compassion and a willingness to be in service from the people here at Gaia Sagrada. No one can get rich here, so those kind of people aren’t here! Everyone who is here is either working for housing, food and a low $ stipend just to cover personal needs, or they are volunteers.
You would be surprised to see how beautifully the people at Gaia Sagrada are willing to pause in life and be in service. Of course we get something out of it too, which is the reward of seeing lives transformed. There is nothing more delightful than to see a person’s life transformed for the better. It’s pretty good karma points too, we think!

It is 55 acres (22 hectares) and almost the whole side of a huge mountain all the way up to the top! Definitely the magic of the Andes here. You can see the Milky Way at night, and beautiful postcard vistas in every direction!
