Gaia Sagrada is now offering a live-in residency program for longterm stays at our magical retreat center! 

We are creating a community here in the magical Andes mountains, where we all live:

We offer more than just residency here at Gaia Sagrada. Your stay will include regular yoga, meditation classes, workshops, the chance to participate in medicine ceremonies, and opportunities to get creative.

This is also a perfect place for writers, artists, or anyone looking for time and space to work on projects or just taking personal retreat time for yourself!

Your stay at Gaia Sagrada will include:

Our Center: Our community cottage is our central hub. You can enjoy our library of books, play multiple musical instruments (it’s not unusual for a jam session to break out!), and relax by the woodstove. Watch the fire and be at ease. Wifi is available here and internet speeds at Gaia Sagrada are comfortable for emailing, Facebook, blogs, etc, but are not always suitable for video streaming or downloading. The community center is surrounded by gardens and patios and has a small, shared kitchen for making tea and snacks. Tea and snacks are always available all hours of the day or night. Upstairs you will find a quiet space for hanging out or working on your computer.

Enjoy long walks on the many trails on the property or relax in nature in one of our many hammocks or our hot tubs!

Accommodation: We have several choices of accommodation to fit your budget. Private rooms, shared rooms and separate male and female dormitories. The price of the program depends on the housing that you choose.

There are plenty of places on the land to find space to be by yourself if you are looking for time alone. Enjoy all the little secret hidden spots on Gaia Sagrada’s beautiful land!

Meals: Included in your stay are three basic vegetarian meals a day. We are always open to our residents pitching in and cooking meals for our community as part of their karma yoga hours. Feel free to share your favorite dishes with us, as long as they are ayahuasca friendly! Vegan and gluten free options are always available as well.

We are a vegetarian retreat center and do not provide the option for meat to be included with meals. We do allow residents to bring cold or canned meat, but do not provide any areas to cook meat at our center. If protein is an issue for you with a vegetarian diet, feel free to bring some protein powder mixes with you. For instance, people who are into body building bring protein powder.

Karma Yoga: For the prices listed, everyone pitches in with 12 hours of karma yoga per week. Karma Yoga is one of the four spiritual paths in Hinduism, one based on the “yoga of action.” To a karma yogi, right work done well is a form of prayer.

The work is simple and easy: gardening, sweeping, washing dishes, watering plants, cooking meals, cutting vegetables, and other easy tasks around the center. It is also a really lovely way to bring the community together and everyone participate in activity together. There is always lots of laughter and fun during these easy tasks.

If you don’t want to do the karma yoga, the option is to pay $500 more per monthly stay with any housing price choice you make. It’s $500 more to not do any work.

Plant Medicine: Gaia Sagrada was built to host plant medicine retreats so there are opportunities to participate in Sweat Lodge, Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies during your stay. The additional price, which is discounted, is $125 per ceremony per person, and you can do as many as you like given availability. (Medicine ceremonies are not included with your housing, food and activities price.)

Open-minded: Spirituality at Gaia Sagrada is varied and we honor all paths. You are not required to adhere to any specific religious or spiritual beliefs join our community. We have created a space where everyone feels safe to be themselves.

Laundry: We provide a laundry service at $5/load for wash, dry, and fold.
